 "On the Road With The Nelsons" was concieved  as a sort of internet magazine to keep our friends and family informed about our adventures living the full time RVing life in the early years of our retirement.We had never heard of a "blog" when we started but,apparently, we have been blogging for close to a decade now.

Over the years, as we settled down in the Rio Grande Valley, "On the Road.." morphed into...

"Nelsons Newsnotes." Marianna does the writing and takes most of the pictures and Bruce does the video and acts as the webmaster

"Studio221" was  originally created to promote the production and release of Bruce's little "feature film", "RV PARK: THE MOVIE", made in (and telling about life in) an RV park in a little town in the Rio Grande Valley. It was great fun for a bunch of old timers and this web page tells all about it. you can see a serialized version of the movie itself on Youtube.

 

 (Unfortunately, a month before we premiered our movie, Hollywood came out with a Robin Williams movie with a similar title "RV: The Movie". Some may believe we copied the title, but our movie was titled two years before the Hollywood film was released and ours was funnier and more believable.  But that's probably why the Acadamy never gave us any awards..ya think?)
